Sound of water when cornering

L322 Rangie 2002

I am getting a swishing noise of water when cornering at low speed, sounds like it is coming from behind the Dash.
Had the same noise some months ago but during the summer the noise disappeared, but there was a heavy down pour a couple of days ago and the noise is back.

Has anyone else had the same problem or know what it might be?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Check the venty bit below the windscreen. Water from the screen should drain through holes that can get blocked with leaves. My Previous RR's!

Hi

yes the drain pipes on left and right hand side are both clear, the centre drain by wiper spindle does not have a tube/pipe attached it drains straight onto the top of the removable air intake box for the heater.

Check the sunroof drains. Quite common with Land Rovers.

Hi

Just been to check and water is running through ok no blockages.

The noise is like water runing from one side to the other in a partially filled tube.

Could it be condensate in the tray below the evaporator.
Shouldn't be any water in it but there would be if the drains are blocked. Thumbs Up

My old car (Cayenne) had drainage tubes that ran along under both doors on each side. Were supposed to drain out behind the wheel arch cover at the front but this often got blocked by salt/grit/mud etc. Not sure if the RR has a similar design?
