The only must with an X5 is remove the flaps as these are the cause of many engine failure, I think they are a great compromise, every time I get in mine I think how well built it feels compared to the FFRR or Disco it feels like a tank, it's not as plush as the Rangie but it drives much better if your a hard driver. Can't tell were your located but if your near me you are welcome to have a drive in mine. They are cheap to tax too after 2008 they drop to £200ish depending on model but don't expect to get BMW quoted mpg of 42mpg I get 32 normal 36 driving like a nun and 28 when I get the foot down lol |

It's a 3.0d M Sport 2008 7 seater with pan roof, welcome to have a drive just give me a shout, you can have a drive of the FFRR side by side to compare and I bet you say the X5 feels better built. |

They will be a good buy now fuel prices have dropped and they go like stink, I had a go in the 4.4 V8 Twin Turbo X5M and they are very quick, the one I drove was remapped by DMS to 650BHP and if her indoors had not been with me I would of bought it, but she complains as I have too many cars, they love spoiling your fun. |
