I agree with all the above, especially Robert, birchyman71 and ajac8’s comments. So my response would be a combination of those, plus: Driving a 10 year-old car that still has the feel and looks of a £50k motor and knowing I could go most places if I wanted to / had to – and all of this in supreme comfort. It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.

I could write a long list of things I enjoy, but for me the best bit is having all the capability that you get in a Range Rover, irrespective of how often you use it.

Not to mention the luxury and sense of occasion that comes with it.....

I agree with all of the above - cruising along sitting in the excellent seats, in the 'commanding' driving position with a nice petrol V8 burbling away, surrounded by wood and leather with the heated seats and steering wheel on in winter is just fantastic

love it what more can i say? don,t get that feeling in any other car!

I've had over 350 cars in the last 12 years, either buying and selling or building and selling or breaking for parts etc, cars have been a hobby that I've been lucky enough to earn a decent wage so as to indulge myself.

I've had so many quirky and classic cars it's not funny, according to my wife !

However, I've always said nothing compares to a Range Rover, I can't describe it, it's just "right"

its SUCH a great all rounder. SC is 'sports car' like in a straight line, MPV like inside, classy outside and luxurious inside. looks right outside a big hotel, or on a builders site, in a river, a field, on any road etc. You can work on it relatively easily, and run (mine) on lpg and petrol.

I could use my rangy like this:
4 sheets of 8x4 plywood on the roof bars, and a rubber dinghy or a few canoes on top, 5 fat people including myself, ALL able to put seatbelts on themselves. a washing machine in the boot, and a few bags of sand, the people will all be able to carry a bucket of sewage on their laps, very likely without spilling it. whilst wearing a fancy hat, listening to radio four quietly without asking you to turn it up! and the whole thing repeated driven onto a trailer, (less the fatties) being towed across the field to their destination. drop it all off, and go and receive your MBE at Buckingham Palace.

There's an advert in an old Car magazine from the 80's for Overfinch for the Classic with a Chevy 350 in it, I believe. Photographed outside a country gent's wooden garage, just in front of his Ferrari and S-Class, both with 'For Sale' signs in them.
