This is going to sound a bit nuts but I find it feels right as in when I drive other cars I don't feel I belong whereas with the ff I feel I should be driving it - so it must be my comfort zone

I have mixed feelings on my FF but that Very Happy feeling is rarely found in many cars.

Towing the tin tent thousands of miles each year knowing that your in one of the safest and best tow cars on the planet does provide a warm fuzzy feeling Thumbs Up

And you guys....green oval forums are genuinly the nicest around....the Audi and Volvo forums were unfriendly and full of tools... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

For me its the fellowship (of the land rover oval).
I've made some good friends purely through owning a land rover, be it a disco, FF or a series.
you guys who frequent this forum make ownership that much more pleasurable.

European Touring, tin tenting, pulling stranded BMW drivers out of snow drifts......

You can't beet that feeling of jeopardy when embarking on a 2000 mile round trip in something wearing a Landrover badge, and the sense of achievement when you have made it home unscathed...... But seriously it is brilliant at it, effortlessly pulled the tin tent to normandy, and pretty much all of the way back unscathed Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The feeling of supreme comfort when I get in after a week of commuting in the Censored Skoda, The towing capabilities, the unquestioned supremacy off tarmac, the image, the fact it can drag a tree stump out in the morning and take me to the West End in the evening. And more!!

And yes, it is all things to me, but best of all it's not a frontal lobotomy germanic tool mobile. Superior? You bet! It's a vastly superior vehicle, Nuff said.

Knowing it's mine. Bought and paid for as a well deserved reward for working hard and not subsidised in any way by others.
Plus it's a very comfy car Very Happy Travelling around in circles again.
