Puddle Lights

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic12599....dle+lights

Fitted the 'Land Rover, Range Rover' Puddle Lights. Got from Supertweaks (£40). Point to note, they mark them (L) Left and (R) Right, but installing them like this means the logo is upside down! So switched over and all is good Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019

They are not really handed .... you can rotate the logo - FYI Smile Mine are set so the LR/RR logo is straight when you open the door to the first natural 'lock' Land Rover Addict

It's quite easy to spot, there is a lug on the projector that rotates the logo Smile Land Rover Addict

I got these and fitted the other day. Shows how well made they are that when I open the door, the DAB signal all but disappears! Shocked Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Be warned BTW ... I am on set number two (albeit in 18 months) as some NUMPTY left my door open for eons while it was being serviced. Burnt out the logos Sad

As for 'noise' ... can't pick anything up at all with my cheap chinese DAB? Land Rover Addict

Er...with the doors closed the lights are off unless your wiring is totally screwed .... are you sure it's two LED lamps that are messing with your DAB????? Land Rover Addict

Sorry, you've lost me now. Until I fitted the new puddle lights my DAB was working well. Now, when I open the door, the DAB signal goes completely and when I close the door the signal is restored.

Clearly there's interference from the new puddle lights. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Most baffling, the unit (I have fitted) is simply a bright CREE with a Vinyl(?) print in front of the lens - the entire vehicle has LED's/CREE's fitted to replace the standard lamps (only the D1S lamps are original). As it's a 30 second job to pop out the lamps, remove one and see if the DAB blanks, then replace with your standard one and see if that makes any odds (which it shouldn't)..... Land Rover Addict

Rolling with laughter hehe .... as I said, not sure what the heck could cause the problem as they are not CANBUS lamps, therefore it's simply a CREE with vinyl..... Land Rover Addict

I suspect it's some form of RF interference. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
