2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Check your waterworks

After reading a post by Alistair, I went and had a look at the expansion tank hose, the one on the bottom feeding into the system not the top bleed one.

He mentioned that his had been chafing on a bolt head and had blown, mine on the other hand has been rubbing on part f the wiring loom and has started to wear through. It is not terminal at the moment but needs a bit of tape round it for protection.

It's worth a look on the tdv8's takes 5 mins to check and could save a few quids as apparently it only comes as part of the full hose kit at ££. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammerðŸ˜œðŸ˜œ

The hose isn't available individually from LR - only as part of a set that even Dan couldn't get below £200 - http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic28094.html

In the end I used a generic bit of hose - I can't remember exactly, but I think it was 19mm

That's the one quick bit of tape has stopped mine going so There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammerðŸ˜œðŸ˜œ

An easy fix in daylight, but mine went late at night on a french motorway - I noticed the pool of coolant in a service station - it drank a lot of water that night - I had to stop about every 45 minutes

Managed to get hold of the entire hose set of eBay for £59. Will go on the jobs to do list when it arrives! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammerðŸ˜œðŸ˜œ
