l322 wing mirror problem

hi folksi own an 03 l322 rangerover which has developed the floppy wing mirror prob has anyone taken mirrors apart ? i have taken back cover off and can not see a micro switch any ideas dont want to wreck mirrors as they are a bit pricey any help with pics would be great thanks richard
