Can't those with warm hands warm up those with a cold bottom? |

Interesting - I bought my 2010MY 4 days ago and have been back to question them on it. To me they hardly heat up at all to be honest...

I'm just gonna bump this to see if I get any answers. My 2010 seems to have an intermittent fan under the drivers seat, it's quite handy that you can just stick a finger in to see if it's spinning. Has anyone else had this? Is there a fix? Does anyone have the circuit diagram - or is there one in/on TOPIX.

Ah well, I found that as I can feel the fan under my seat, the filter has fallen off again, and if it doesn't start spinning on switch on I turn it of and turn it on again - the trick seems to be to turn it on slowly.

Sometimes the turning off turning on trick doesn't work in which case I have to turn off and turn on the car (restart) after a few miles as the IIDTool pointed me in the direction of the drivers seat heater losing contact (or maybe never even making contact) with the appropriate ECU.

I'll swap my 2003 for your 2010 if you like. My seats heat up super quick! |

Supershuttle, did you get a resolution to your heated seat problem as mine has started doing the same?

Not sure this helps but we had similar issues with a vented seat. Turned out that a pipe joint between the base and seat back had come undone. Resulting in hot air being blown over one of the hearting unit causing the unit to cut off thinking it was warmer than it actually was. As I say not sure this helps but having spent 6 months getting to this stage including replacing one of the blowers my recommendation is to dis assemble the seat and see what is going on properly. 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream |
