As a new member .. I'll throw my hat in the ring with my 1963 Series 2a called "Yolandi". Strictly reserved for BBQs on the beach and the odd trip to the dump !

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Java Black

The most fun driving I did recently was in a series 2, a real adventure. It belongs to a friend of mine and is called Farage, on the grounds that it is 'all torque and no power'.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

The collection I'm temporary carer of at the moment has changed massively since my last post.

Can't post pics due to where I am but I have now got the please of being able to chose between,
FF
Citroen Xm 2.5td vsx estate (massive inside!)
Citroen Xantia V6 series 2 Exclusive(one of the best examples out there!)
Citroen Xantia Activa Series 1 (corner eater!)
Citroen Xantia v6 series 1 Exclusive (few parts being stripped and then going to be turned into a cube)
Citroen Xm 2.1TurdoD SED Hatchback series 1.5
Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 (wj) just been sent off to a new home in France!)
Citroen C5(x7) 2.0hdi auto Tourer (two weeks of testing before it gets moved on or upgrades applied)
Citroen C5(II) 2.0 hdi(6) VTR+nav Estate with leather

The series 2 v6 has just done warrington to cairnryan at good speed and time getting 31mpg so shows the engine is good and not a turd like a good few out there and hasn't put a foot wrong even with the snow in Northern Ireland and Scotland on the way through yesterday Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

My other motor is a 2002 Mini Cooper S, owned since new:

I have gradually tweaked the performance through a Milltek exhaust, K&N filter, iridium plugs and a few other things. Next step is a smaller supercharger pulley and a remap. Have also replaced the expensive and always flat run-flat tyres with normal ones.

No, it's not a JCW, but by the time I've finished with it, it will certainly have a similar, if not better, level of performance than a JCW.

There are a few Mini forums. mini2.com used to be the best, but has got a bit commercial. TotalMini is also good and has model-specific sub-forums: http://www.totalmini.com/forum/109-2001-2006-1st-generation/
