^ Well yes I have had two of them this was the latest but I sold it when we bought the new Dethleffs Motorhome. I just can't stop buying them as they are such a good little bit of kit!

They are absolutely brilliant - I am on my second one and everyone in the family loves it.

It will be going down into the Alps again this year for cycling a trip and to follow the Tour de France, plus it will no doubt be heading off for some mountain biking weekends

We've had big motorhomes, but the California is the constant - and they hold there value unbelievably well

How good are they really are they just good for a couple or maybe plus 2 kids ... are they not a bit tight internally spacewise ...

No good for more that two really or your crawling all over each other. At a push four can sleep comfortably but its when you want to get up...

Fabulous for short trips or just a great day van. They drive incredible well.

They are brilliant, but it is a "camper" not a "motorhome" - so think "luxury camping" and you are there - fit and finish is superb, detailing and use of space is amazing.

The great thing with them is they are "car sized" so you can take them anywhere - this is us on Col du Tourmalet in French Alps waiting for the Tour a couple of years ago.

Loaded up and heading off for a weekend mountain biking in Kielder - put some replacement alloys on it last year.

As you can see ours is pre-face lift but slightly loathed to change - we have the 174 bhp engine and it goes and tows really well - I've had some big heavy ribs on the back in the past

The later facelift ones are really striking to look at especially in this colour bit like Ipanema Sand! Ours was slightly lowered on new springs.

Agree - front end of the facelift is nicer but I really do prefer the pre-facelift 5 pot engines

They are brilliant

As said earlier, some of the design is amazing e.g. the outside/fold-up chairs you see outside mine are stored in a special compartment in the boot door (don't take up any boot space) and the outside table is stored in the sliding side door.

They have remote timed warm air heating similar to the FF) so you can set it to come on in the morning so you are toasty warm

I have a friend who runs one of these. His is an aftermarket Bilbo and he loves it. Uber reliable, great inside...

I actually fancied one to replace the D3 but couldn't find a 4motion and wanted it for towing... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
