check your 18472A....... [radiator-heater hose]

My loyal Range gave up when we arrived just in front of our gate. Weird squiking noice and when I parked her in the gatehouse, smoke came from under the hood, I opened up and water/coolfluid and steam sprayed everywhere. Little hot, but I thought thank god it did not happen while we were somewhere in the middle of nowhere on our touristic trip with my mother (92) wife and kid.

But... something weird, probably a mistake made in the garage. The hose partnr; 18472A from engine to heater was eaten by the fan. So some guy in an overall with Land Rover on his chest changed the hose and did not push hard enough. It's true there is not much space between the hose and the fan, but...anyway I wrote this up to tell you that it might be wise to have a look under that big plastic cover and check if there is enough space between fan and hose. Because this is what might happen.

Dan was so kind to help me out with a list of all the hoses, so I could pick out mine and he had the same delay as the dealer here in France. So new one fitted (sais a proud non tech)everything cleaned and my Range is purring again allong the French roads. Thanks Dan!

18472A isn't the part number, it's the reference code from the diagram.
