Ive been looking at getting these done, my question is, how do you re program the key once it's back?? |

There are quite a few posts on here about how to programme the key fobs. The guys that did mine also sent me a procedure on what to do - it only involves a sequence of button presses on the new remote to link it to the car. Once you've done the new one you need to reprogramme the existing fob also.

Just observe the tiny piece of black plastic and its position, as you open up the key. Don't lose it, it is the brain of the key. The circuit board is the mechanics. The pice is only about 10mm long and is sort of triangular from memory. It looks like a broken shard of 'old key shell' it isn't, it's the unique piece and necessary of key to change over. |
