Door frame seal tear repair

I have a small tear in the front passenger side rubber door frame seal as shown. As it's only a small tear I'd like to repair it if I can rather than replace the seal. Can anyone recommend a suitable adhesive, i.e. one that won't dissolve the seal rubber?

Door seal

Hi I had mine repaired two years ago . squirt some black silicon in & stick seal down . Never had any problem with it since .

Thanks for the reply. How long does the silicone take to set? My tear is on a vertical section and I don't want it to run to the bottom before it sets. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

Seal repair

silicon won't run down just put a bit masking tape or gaffer tape over repair & leave on overnight .
