Wales 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Wheel nuts again!

I know this topic has been done before, but for a deffinatve answer have I got the wrong nuts for my wheels. Don't shout at me, I bought it like this!

As Stan said have a look how well the outer barrel fits, the barrels are different sizes between the Older nuts like you have and the newer ones.

IIRC the BMW wheels to match your nuts (ooer missus) had dimples in the front face, so you may be in possession of newer wheels with older nuts.

I've taken a nut out and had a look at the gap between the nut and the wheel, theres abot 1 mill all round. They are the old black style nuts but I wasnt sure if the wheels are a newer type that require the new silver type with the tapered collar and slightly wider. I couldnt see a tapered seat on the wheel though.

I think you have the wrong nuts.

Those wheels are post 2006MY, you should have the silver domed nuts, not the flat black ones.

Surprised Got the missus to order me new nuts and lockers from the bay of e. Thanks everyone for your help. Must try to see if I can get my tyres that shiny too!!!!

Yep have those as my winter wheels and correct it is the silver nuts
