2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green
[Wanted] 2002-2005 TD6 <100k miles circa. £8-11k

Hi All,

I'm a [more] frequent poster over on DISCO3/4 forum although currently running a 2004 Discovery 2 TD5 as my main vehicle.

I have always been fond of the L322 Range Rover and now that they've been around long enough I'm looking for the perfect model (of course, one must exist, somewhere?!). My criteria is...

- Looking to spend up to about £10k but would fork out a little extra for something special
- Ideally as many miles below <100k as possible
- Must be a Td6
- Looking for Vogue spec (or HSE so long as it has the navigation/computer added in).

Everything else is fairly flexible... I've been trawling the classifieds, Autotrader, Gumtree and eBay for a couple of weeks now. Waiting for the one which feels right.

Thought I'd drop a line in here as well just in case anybody knows of anything coming up in the pipeline! Thumbs Up

Many thanks,

Chris 2002 Range Rover Td6 Vogue

miles

i searched for ages to get a low milage diesel with a similar price in mind to yourself,i wanted touch screen and towbar within the sensible tax years[i bought a 2005 with 88k]
they are very hard to source for sensible cash under 100k most have circa 120k+-i had to settle for an hse with no nav and its fairly hard to retro fit into the most system if it didnt originally come fitted with it [found that out from the learned gentlemen on this forum] fortunately nav isnt a "must have" for me
with 11k though you should be able to source something pretty decent good luck

To be honest i wouldn't worry about the mileage that much.
Yes they are cheaper for a reason but then the money you save can be put into a repair fund for things like the gearbox or air struts.

There are some very high mileage TD6's about and even TDV8's! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

milage

i used to not worry about the milage either-but selling high milage vehicles nowadays[unless giving them away] is very hard
its usually the owners of the higher milage vehicles that say "dont worry about the milage"
there also seems to be a magical 100k barrier in folks minds when buying

Thats always the case but i tend to end up buying higher mileage ones due to the cost as you say Smile

Only two of my vehicles have less than 100k on, 1 is over 210k, another 170k, another 160k, 134k on another(that one is 23years old mind and a diesel!)

Horses for courses but the bigger factor is how long your keeping it for as well. buying higher mileage and then not using it much saves you a good wedge initially and then slowly evens out... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

That 100k is a symbolic number. It's the same here in Switzerland with 100,000 km's.

Yes, noticed that 100,000 km barrier when telling my Honda. 100,000 km comes up MUCH faster than 100,000 miles.
I bought the FFRR with a little less than 110,000 miles, so I guess I don't have to worry about that Whistle
