As far as I know, the suspension settings and parts remain the same. No adjustments needed for different sized OEM FFRR wheels. GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

It is possible to do some changes in the software (can't remember exactly which ECU) but I'm pretty sure that wasn't done if the wheel circumference was close enough. It helps getting the speedo as close as possible to being dead on. If you want to be sure you would need to have a dealer or someone with IID/Faultmate or the likes check what values are in the software.

I think this thread has already been covered recently, but was the agreed outcome that bigger rims + reduced tyre wall = same overall OD?

I'd assume that the bigger the rims then the lower profile the tyres to keep the diameter and gearing the same? Got tyres like rubber bands on a BMW Z4 but wouldn't want them on a RR. |

This is what it's got now ..... they look ok to me and far preferable to the gypsy caravan blingy 22" ones in its original ad .... have these got a model number? Anyway .... I bought the car!

My FF was on 22" wheels when bought (aftermarket, but nice looking), but is now on 20's and rides / handles much better (too many potholes down here in wildest Wales to chance wrecking 22" wheels running on glorified elastic bands!! 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!) |
