Hello I've got a little excessive tyre wear on the outside of the rear left any ideas, !!! Wheel, ? Bushes. Had the 4 wheel tracking done around 6 months ago. Tyres were used and already on the wheels when I bought them !!

Take it back to where you had the tracking done , because thats not good . 2008 MY Supercharged

Have you had the rear bushes looked at for wear? They could be very worn and out of alignment when driving, but in true when resting on tracking machine. There was a posting recently on a Diy repair to show the bushes. They can be a right wot sit to remove.

They look like 20" Toyo Proxes? Never heard a good word said about them in 20" I'm afraid Steve... (22" Toyo's are excellent before i get shouted at)

Agree with above, rear bushes are usually the culprit... Still, your tyre will need changing & i personally would NOT buy the same to replace them sir

Upper and lower rear hub bushes and perhaps control arm too, then 4 wheel alignment again. Sorted it for me after I had gone through two tyres, I got down to the belts first time round before spotting it! oh, do both sides for good measure, then you know where you are. Howto on the wiki if you like the spanners. .

Well... new tyre fitted, only to find out one of the front ones is bigger than the rest may explain the wobble feeling then !!!!

Don't wait too long before you sort out the bushes, otherwise you'll be in for another new tyre! .

or even TWO tyres! and a remaining wobble.
if you go to an MOT garage, they will easily be able to raise a wheel an inch off ground, place a crowbar under rear wheel treads, and lever/rock the wheel up an down, feeling the bushes, and probably show you them, clunking all over the place. at rest, the tyre is straight, as you drive, it drags sideways, wearing the edge etc. slowing you down too!

joe90 did a good WIKI showing their methods of removal etc. car will be like magic carpet after. -remember to align after all bushes checked/renewed etc.
