Can't help you with your quest but a couple of weeks ago I sent a set of 5 x 19" Audi wheels & tyres to Portsmouth, never even had to wrap them as the courier supplies blankets and straps. Made my life a lot easier and they arrived totally unmarked and on the day they were meant to arrive. The only downside is it's a 10 day service right now as far as I know but at a price of £49.00 and no wrapping the service was spot on.

Thanks for that, I did see Simpsons but I was of the impression they didn't venture up our way?

I've sent a few sets or Rangie wheels/tyres as four parcels at about 8 per wheel via any courier like yodel, 48hr etc. plenty of online parcel firms. However insuring them, can make it go up a bit. I always measure then a little conservatively, to get it in the lowest bracket etc, and I tape card over the faces, and add a rope to handle the item easier. |

Alan, I spoke to Nick Simpson regarding insurance for the wheels and said they were worth £2k to replace, he told me that wasn't a problem and there was no other fees to pay, just the £49.00...and no wrapping |
