T91 Telestart - how to remove power connector?

Hi all,

First post - I have searched but have come unstuck at the last bit, please be gentle!

(April 11 TDV8 Vogue SE)

I'm trying to pair my T91 fob with the car to enable the remote heating. I've looked at various fuses (59 has been mentioned - not applicable, in my car at least). I've found the receiver where it should be but, for the life of me, I cannot remove the black power connector - incredibly annoying! I'm really worried that if I force it, I'll break it - is there a clip in there somewhere (access is incredibly fiddly) or am I just not pulling hard enough?

Many thanks in advance. Smile

The receiver is attached to the rear of the panel ( as you know ). If you undo the right hand bolt as you look at the panel the whole will pivot out towards you and access is much easier and the connector comes out much more easily. Don't strain the panel too far - just enough to get to the rear.

The connector just pulls out.

I would advise plugging the gap in the boot floor under the bolt with a cloth as, if you drop the bolt, it can be a sod to get to. Fortunately I had a flexible with a claw to get it out. Embarassed

And welcome to the forum. Thumbs Up John

Thanks for the welcome and super-quick reply!

Annoyingly, I just cannot budge the bolt at all - everything is conspiring against me. Censored

Good to know the connector just pulls out, I'll try to be a little less delicate with it... (famous last words?! Rolling Eyes )

Want to get this sorted as I'm hoping it'll help with my other issue of the driver's door not opening (lock goes up but handles don't work from inside or out until the car hates up a bit) when its sub-zero.
