Towing is not difficult, and the ff makes it easier being heavy so it's nice and stable and auto so you don't burn out the clutch. It's just a matter of judging gaps and distances correctly as well as realising you could weigh up to 5 tonnes with a caravan on the back. So long as you passed your test before 1997 there is no restrictions on your license to what you can tow, but after that there are certain parameters which must be adhered to.
