Since getting our motor, I discovered a water leak on the o/side rear passenger door. I removed the door cards when cleaning the car out.
Comparing the o/side door with the n/side passenger door, I can't see anything amiss.
Every time it rains and I open the door there is water trapped between the door seal and the body seal.
There is a deflector plate just below the outer window glass to door seal on the inside of the door.
When I played the hosepipe along this seal, the water came gushing in.
It looks like the water deflector plate somehow is not doing its job. It is glued to the outer door skin and as I mentioned looks the same as the n/side door.
Would a new window rubber seal help?

this is a known problem on L322's. It is normally the blocking of the drain hole at the bottom of the door by "stuff" (mud or road cr@p). It needs poking through with thin wire or similar.

Search on the forum as this has been covered several times.

Seems to be a problem with top-end motors. My Cayenne used to fill with water when the 2 drainage tubes under the doors filled with mud and salt.
