I fitted these to my 2002/2010 conversion. Had to fit H11 resistors. They are the correct size and brackets are right, look the part. 10 mins to fit Thumbs Up

After I fitted them I think I seen on here Craig has them without the resistors, I think Confused

Yes, if your using them in lieu of standard bulb fogs, the canbus (bulb failure) warning would appear on your instrument cluster display unless you switch off hot and cold monitoring using an IID tool ( or similar ) or have a ballast resister in place.

In my case, I terminated the fog positive and negative feeds and just powered them off the DRL switch, then turned hot and cold monitoring off ( thanks Stan for that advice)

Has anyone tried putting these fogs onto a <2010 model? If they are the same size as the pre-facelift they should work no?

Horse86.

AFAIK The pre 2010 are different to the 2010+.

As Stan has said, one of the site sponsors ( Cam-tech) is able to supply plug and play LED fog light for pre 2010 that he has engineered.

Thanks Stan and Paul. Very cool. Those look a lot like the ones for the 2010+.

Is the glass clear or fluted? So no errors? Strictly plug and play...or do you have to wore in resistors? I don't really want to mess with tapping into the wiring and adding resistors unless they are the ones pre-wired with sockets so it's plug and play.

Do they operate as the stock fogs or are they DRLs? How is the output...more for looks and not as bright as stock? Are they CREE LEDs?

how much did they run you?
