Going to buy a 4.4 RR over the Christmas break ... looking at prices it will be a 2011 model ... what I don't know is the difference between a Vogue and a Vogue SE ... what extras do you get and, more importantly, are they worth it? Thanks for any help!

Get a V-SE if you can.

Just the cooled/heated seats are worth it to me  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The perforated leather that comes with the cooled seats looks great

Also prefer the 20" wheels on the SE

VSE all the way.
Looking for a 4.4 myself and it wont do if it does'nt have cooled seats.
Once you've had it (on my 3.6L VSE), you can't do without.
spend the extra £££ for it, you will not regret it.

So ...... we've established that there are cooled seats with holes in .... there must be more than that! .... anyone know what other differences there are please?

VSE over Vogue :

- 2 extra pieces of wood trim, at the rear center console by the vent knobs.
- Cooled front seats
- ski trap in rear seats

The cooled seats come from chaps in hotter climates apart from Ceegee who like the look of the perforations, personally the RSE would sway me

So cooled seats (not bothered), a ski trap (not required) and some wood trim (not bothered), seat back screens (not required) ..... I'm glad I asked. This apples to the 2011 model as per OP does it? Nothing in the engine or suspension departments?

Thanks for that .... doesn't seem to matter which type I get then, so I'll just see what's available.

Each to their own but for me its Se all the way. Its easy to see the seats as just cooled but its a bit more than that. The whole deign of the seat is different and significantly more comfortable and cosseting that the normal Vogue. The stitching details and seat shape look far more stylish and befitting the car. cooling is only half the storey. I also happen t think the blank plastic each side of the clock is a bit of a let down.

Plus there is also the additional wood trim, self dipping wing mirrors etc.

My SE doesn't have a ski trap so am assuming that was not standard equip not that i would cry over that.

Some assume the dual view screen is standard but don't think it was until 2012 as part of the phase out.

Most SE's also have the more detailed 20inch rims.

As long as one is happy thats all that counts at the end of the day. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus
