I never have the recirc on as otherwise the FF ends up smelling sweaty inside (plus daren't have it on when SWMBOs had a curry!).

I leave the recirculate on auto, it will then draw fresh unless it detects its contaminated air ie fumes There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Learnt something new today. I never knew any of that about the air con. I thought that having it on all the time would just be one more thing to break or go wrong on the car. Travelling around in circles again. |

Although I leave it on all the time by habit once you get into frosty weather it's effect is minimal.

I agree with this - if ever it looks like a queue of traffic through the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow then I switch the recirc. on whilst still out in the open and it keeps everything fresh. There is also a section on the M74 on the outskirts of Glasgow where it can be very whiffy past the landfill site if you done switch the recirc on 2006 FFRR TDV8 Vogue 2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 GS |

So i have got my FF5.0, will join the 5.0Sc club and upload pictures on the weekend. For now though as winter has set in, i like to car to be warm. With this thread of leaving the AC on, can someone tell me what settings they have on for the temp on the dials.
