TD6 Coolant change

Evening
I have spent 30 minutes searching but can not find the info I am after.
It is coolant change week here and tonight I have done the Mini One, tomorrow I want to do the FF.
What is the best way to drain, flush and refill the TD6 cooling system?
I have the correct spec antifreeze in the shed.
After the FF I will change the ccolant on her BMW F650 GS, that will be fun.

Thanks

Hi Stan
In the following from the Wiki
download and repair video links

2002-2006 workshop manual ..RAVE
2006-2010 workshop manual
2002-2006 workshop manual RAVE NAS version

online workshop manual
pdf landrover manuals-link
2002/2005 off road navigation manual

The '2002-2006 workshop manual Rave' is the systems description and operation manual not the service manual
The online workshop manual link takes you to NAS links for L322 which doesnt fully cover TD6.
PDF Landrover Manuals link again has systems description and operation manual not the service manual

You need the service manual not System description and operstion to find the coolant flush info.
I had the full set of Rave on my old laptop but when I updated I lost them and didnt bother to track down a replacement till today when I needed it.
Unfortunatley I didnt pay attention to where I found it.

Replaced coolant last night. Undid by hand the system drain located at the bottom RHS of the radiator, removed expansion tank screw cap and bleeder screw from EGR heater and allowed to fully drain. Did run engine for a minute to try and get all the old coolant out. Checked old coolant and my tester was showing it was around 15% strength. I then ran the garden hose through the expansion tank and ran that for a few minutes. It ran clear so not much if any corrosion present which is good. Thumbs Up

Replaced with G48 at 40% strength and used distilled water. Ner Ner Kept filling until the expansion tank and radiator top hose were full with the engine running and then bled the system using the EGR bleeder and then took it for a 5 mile drive while checking the heater blew hold N cold and then topped up again and bled to the correct level before closing the bonnet and walking away knowing the motor is protected and water tight. Thumbs Up
