Hmmm - I've never done any entrenching and so never really felt the need for a tool to help me do it - however, I hate to be left out so I wait with baited breath for the eBay vs proper tool review Very Happy

I hate clutter. Back - small packsac with work clutter.
Wheel well: jumper leads, old set of coveralls, snow brush (it's CANADA, after all).
Now, the back of the Disco, (used for offroading is another story) - everything but the kitchen sink, including spare tyre #2)!

Jump leads, spare bulbs, straps to hold bikes to roof rails, cushion for bad back (should be on seat, but invariably ends up in boot), dog basket (when not in use), portable compressor, warning triangle, miscellaneous tools, various 'bags for life' from supermarkets. Nearly all packed around the spare wheel, apart from the dog basket.

And at the weekend, skiing gear and golf clubs.

Excellent saves me starting a new topic about my favorite new addition to the boot first the other stuff -

oil
coolant
tool bag with everything I think I need within reason
recovery strap
air compressor
descent bottle jack in the cubby hole
boot mat to keep the sand at bay when camping
"and damage to the back of the seats caused by the previous owner"

And my new favorite I have never had a proper torch and got p***ed off a few weeks ago when I needed one to work on the car and ended up having to use a cigarette lighter to see what I was doing so purchased and fitted the below after looking online and this was the best option for me rechargeable with a magnetic base perfect!

Also 12 Guinness, 12 lager, Grouse, gin, vodka, Bacardi and various mixers, it's used as the back up cellar when we are away in the van.

Understand it's only a bit of light hearted banter Thumbs Up got myself some decent jump leads and tow rope. Now off to find a small tool kit with everything in one box should they be need. Oh and a decent torch would,t go amiss with these long dark nights ahead

13 to 7 pin adaptor ...... Check! (Forgot about that, it's in there somewhere)

In terms of tool kit I would have a look at the Halfords one in the briefcase, it's on offer occasionally at £100, and it has pretty much everything you need.

Not on offer at the moment tho..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

A very tidy looking boot there Thumbs Up Where did you get your boot protector from? a really weird question but does it smell? Laughing Mine came with a cheapo one and the whole car smelt of rubber inside really bad so i threw it away but now obviously need another.
