Well done on the two passes, play in the rack is more than likely a rack end, now it's started it will degrade quickly, they are pretty cheap and easy to do especially if they have it apart to do the brake pipes.... Pete

I know there are joint couplers available to do this but I've never seen a garage use them, why would you want to add another potential leaky area into a safety system. Best pay the mechanic £80 to do the work if you're not sure about doing it yourself...What price safety?!!! p.s. might be worth changing the flex pipes while you're at it |
