2005 Range Rover Autobiography Td6 Zambezi Silver

Vogue SE or autobiography?

Hi, I've seen a 2005 Range Rover td6 for sale, I'm not sure if it's a vogue SE or autobiography? It has rse and two tone leather which is perforated and black/grey in colours. There is no rear badge on the car but on the log book says Range Rover vogue SE A.. Is the A for autobiography or will it actually say this if it is? Thanks

put the reg into the dvla tax check site and it should come up with the correct description.. ... - .- -.

I think the "A" is for automatic Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black

Mine are jet and ivory along with piano black wood but it's not an AB Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I thought Autobiography was just some a-la-carte extras - you can end up with an AB that is actually a lower spec than a Vogue SE overall.

I wouldn't worry about the badge - find a cat that has the extras that you want and buy it - it doesn't really matter whether they were part of a standard spec or added by the original owner.

Indeed, I've rarely seen an AB with cooled seats that the VSE has as standard. Many people assume the AB is higher spec than the VSE but that's not always the case. I guess if you start with a VSE and add some AB bits, you can put the AB badge on the back! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I think Autobiography just meant you'd selected some bespoke extras on pre 2010 cars. On 2010+ cars it was top of the range and more of a 'trim level', 2010+ AB's can be identified by their leather headlining etc. Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White
Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather
Also: Mk1 Audi TT 1.8T Quattro, Brilliant Black

Depending on markets not all AB's had the leather headlining. In France for instance it was an option and still is on the L405.
Basically there's a higher spec: more leather (door cards, dashboard and leather headlining as standard or as an option depending on markets).
