i'd check the battery first.....there might be enough power to operate a few items but not enough to start it.. ... - .- -.

Have today charged battery but made no diffrence.

Hi thanks for reply. Battery was changed under warranty a while ago as there was a recall but that was several years ago.

Could you take the battery off the car and transport it to somewhere that can test it for you?

I had no warning telling me the battery was weakening. Just one day jumped in the car, pushed the button and nothing so it might be the same problem.

you might be charging the battery but it might not be holding the charge..get a drop test done to see if its ok.. ... - .- -.

Happy to get a battery but how on earth do you get the thing out on a 2010, hardly had room to get the battery leads in lol, tighter than a

You can but it's a real squeeze. To be honest I had my local Renault garage fit it for me but he had a hard time! |

Have a look at RRUKs (Adam) post on the battery saga with his 2010 SC MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

had a similar problem with my10 vogue, tft went blank, lcd screen went blank whilst I was driving, lights still worked and indicators ok, got home turned off ignition tried to restart but car did not turn over. had to get it recovered to local dealer, fault was a wire had frayed on subframe and shorted to earth behind left hand cover in boot. problem sorted with sticky tape ! |
