To bleed the system when refilling you will find bleed valves on the header tank, next to the filler cap. On the EGR valve under the the front engine cover (front of engine, held on with 2 hex screws and has the power steering filler cap pointing through), and there is a last one on the coolant rail. This one I can not remember where it is, I think it is on the right hand side of engine, standing in front of car looking at engine, near the top of the cover behind the power steering pump. All I know is I only found this after I had filled the system and bled all the air using the other two! And then its the waiting game, as the engine heats up the air bubbles up in the header tank, you fill it and it bubbles some more. Eventually when the engine is up to normal temp, the bubbles should stop. Fill it up and refit the cap, I normally let it run for another 15 minutes, then let it cool down. When it's cold, preferably the next morning, check that the levels are OK Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

It's called a plug in English, you will find spare ones all over the car, they use one wiring loom for all models and for all options so it will be for something your car doesn't have, so don't worry about it..... Pete

i had a right game bleeding the air out of the fbh,i had to bleed air out of the fbh water pump first(with the fbh and pump running, but it gets very hot very quick with no water circulating) then top the rest of the cooling system up after, took a few attempts but removed the hose where it goes through the inner wing to bleed the pump as thy are not self priming

Got the job done. But it did take some time. I hade to go both thrue the inner arch liner and in under the battery to get all the hoses off. Now whats left is to delete the fault codes.
