If you mean the U shaped piece of galvanized wire, then I can say with 99% certainty, yes. If you pull it out in the bend it slides out. Be careful not to drop it, they sometimes come out.

Its is part of the main coolant circuit so you need to look how to fill and bleed that. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Ist a god damn strugle to get the FBH out, at least without removing the wheel as sugested. Got to continue tomorrow, then with the wheel off.
