I've thought about getting a couple more weekends in before storing it away for the winter. We went to The Old Oaks in glastonbury last November which was a great site. We were the last ones to pull off on the day the site closed for the winter. |

It helps if the Van is winterised with heated double floor and has the special "Winter Comfort" pack walls filled with Styrofoam rather than polystyrene. This coupled with Truma Gas/Electric heating with room thermostat keep the van as warm as you want it for as long as you want it. Dethleffs are popular in Scandinavia for this very reason. |

As we use our 'van all year round I won't bore you with the reasons why and how easy it is....but we've never been cold, never been stuck, never been bored and never not enjoyed it...

Off to the Shetlands on Friday, (flying) then dragging tin tent down to Cornwall on Tuesday . Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.
