TDV8 Alive Tuning

Afternoon all,

Has anyone had their TDV8 remapped by Alive Tuning - and if so what results did you get? Is it worth £400 notes??

Indeed, my local specialist swears by Alive but can't guarantee specific results - I'm keen to hear from those that have done it! 2007 RR Vogue SE TDV8

A bit OT, but I have used Bell Auto Services BAS BOX on consecutive Range Rovers as it offer many advantages (return to OEM specs in seconds, fault reader, etc). Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I think Gary and Pete were pretty much the founders of tuning Land Rover diesels via a proper remap. Both their companys have been going for a considerable time.

Heard nothing but good things about Pete Bell, but only have first hand experience of Gary at Alive Tuning. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Countryboy - I assume you've been in talks with Rovertune in Reading?

I have owned a TDV8 RRS myself since March 2009, and have of course spent a very long time in researching into how the engine operates, and how to get the best results.

We have our own 4x4 rolling road, so can prove the gains we make. This is all well and good, but a dyno sheet won't show you how much brighter the throttle response is with our tuning, as well as how the gearbox responds to the increased engine torque. It's all good of course, as I wouldn't have it any other way. Smile

Please contact Rovertune directly to arrange a free of charge 'Try before you buy' demonstration on your own car. You will like it though!! Wink

Kind Regards,

Gary. Custom Remapping | Samco Hoses | Sports Exhausts
