Afternoon all,

Got a random issue, grateful for any electrics wizz help please!

Was driving the other day and a couple of random warning lights came on, shortly followed by all warning lights before the dash dying (needles dropping to zero) and the car cut out cruising to a stop.

No joy on restart, battery pushing out 12.5v and all other electrics work apart from anything on the dash. AA checked it over and suggested ignition switch. They did a temporary repair by bypassing fuse 1 in the glove box.

Any thoughts - would this suggest ignition switch has gone?

Others have had their switch fail but generally on older FFRRs. Just the switch (so no new barrel) may not be too expensive. Maybe send Dan a PM for a price. Alternatively, buy some switches and wire them up to mimick the ign switch to see if that solves the issue  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
