can my gap iid tool be updated

I have an iid tool for my discovery 3, which has proved invaluable.

Thing is, its going in a couple of days, i will then have an iid tool that is of no use. Does any one know if it can be reprogrammed to work on the 2010 ffrr?

It can have the VIN changed for a new car, BUT only of the same model. I don't think a D3 IIDTOOL will work with an FFRR. IID did have an upgrade plan when the BT models came out. Maybe they'll get you upgrade to an FFRR MODEL.

Otherwise, post it for sale on the D3 site. They seem to sell on pretty quickly.
