i am dropping the car off to get the rear far changed and a few other bits and bobs and the same dealership has this car in

www.farnelllandrover.com/used-car/846251/l...el-estate/

is this about the right price or is it a bit toppy? as i thought that i might take it for a drive to see what its like while they sort mine....

Sounds like they're playing the lowish mileage card, but it's not worth that. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Aren't those 20s the wrong wheels? I thought they were only an option on the 2002-2005 MY cars? 2006 4.2 SC

there are two types of 5 spokes, the 2002-2005 ones with small holes in between the spokes and smaller wheel nuts and the later type with dimples instead of holes and these take the newer 23 mm shank nuts.. ... - .- -.

There is a 2008 on LR site for 29,995 with 10k on the clock. Rolling Eyes

Low milage but really, who is going to pay 30k for a 6/7 year old ff. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Its mad for me I would never buy a low milage older car they need to be used or they develop all sorts of weird faults in my opinion

England 2008 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Tonga Green

I actually went to view this car about 3 weeks ago. I went for a test drive but decided a FFRR was not for me (I was wrong as I have subsequently bought one). Anyway I went back to look at the car a couple of weeks later and the price had gone up £1000. Apparently the value of the car had increased due to market pressures! Any way I had a really good look around the car and found rather serious rust on the rear door, top and bottom and both rear wings were bubbling rather badly. When I told the garage about this they were not really bothered. Maybe they have sorted out the rust now but to be honest I was rather disappointed with the whole experience with the garage and decided to look elsewhere. I have now bought from the Land Rover dealer in Carlisle and although the mileage was higher my car was in much better condition. And the dealer was much easier to deal with. Hope this helps. Paul

Hmmmm!

I bought a car off the Land Rover dealer in Carlisle - as soon as I got it home I became aware of faults and told them within 1 week. I was really patient but after nearly twelve months of trying they admitted they couldn't sort it despite full LR warranty etc. Service reception lady "suggested" I get rid asap!

Thought I'd offer them a way out by giving them more money to upgrade if they took it back - sales manager said it wasn't their fault and were not prepared to play ball.

Eventually bought elsewhere and got a deal I was happy about. Would use the service department again but will never buy a car from them as long as I live.
