Stop it at 1:00 and look at the 2 trees you can see. Then rotate your screen so they're vertical. That gives you a better idea of the true angle of the slope. |

They're branches. Stop it at 1:08 and you can clearly see a trunk on the right that I think is a true vertical. |

Stop it at 0:37 and check out the clumps of grass. Grass always grows vertical. Still impressive enough but the way that video has been shot would have you believe the RRS can defy gravity without a winch. |

I scared myself the same way on a VERY steep decent in my D1. I only tried it because it wasn't too long and had a nice runout. I touched the brakes and the whole back of the car suddenly felt extremely light and that it wanted to switch ends with the front! I took my feet off everything and hoped for the best. The car was great, but engine breaking in a V8 automatic made for a swift decent. |
