OK guys i have all my nav working now but when it goes to alert me verbally of speed cameras (DVD nav) it just cuts the volume for a split second but you get no verbal warning, also in nav mode there is no voice guidance !!! Any ideas? In set up I have speed cameras on and nav mix vol on max. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Have you tried turning the volume button up when the nav is speaking or giving the camera alert?

Looking at the BMW forums, this could be an issue with the non standard firmware you have. Some have ended up going back to the official BMW software.

The weird thing was that when I first plugged it in the tv module was goosed which was why I had no moniter display but as soon as I plugged the new nav in I could hear the speed camera warnings. Spoke to Baris and because I by passed the TV module by plugging the blue plug from that direct into the nav unit I need to swap 2 wires round. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
