on the overfinch ones it has 3 toyo proxes 285/35/22 ( I think thats the size as I'm not near the car right now). the fourth is a same size tyre of onknown make, possibly chinese as it was bought in a rush following a puncture. Another thing confusing me is that I have in the past popped on one of the 19 inch originals on in lieu of a spare |

I would be very very surprised that the wheels would have anything to do with the gearbox issues even though it goes away when you are rolling on 19 inchers. I wonder if it makes a difference if the CCF file is updated with the correct wheels !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

The transmission controller has a ‘curve recognition mode’ which is designed to inhibit upshifts while the vehicle is cornering (for stability) and it kicks in if there’s a speed difference detected of more than 1 km/h between the front wheels. If you have the odd tyre on the front it might be worth swapping it to the rear?

If you want to look after your transmission never run with different tyres and / or large differences of tread on the same axle and if you can help it try and keep it all "same" on all four corners.
