It's a car that's meant to reflect good taste. A gentleman's car.

The Queen (admittedly being chauffeured) and other Royalty in this country use them and Landies - doesn't get any higher a recomendation for me, don't care if they are given to them by LR. There's something about having the 'By Royal Appointment' on the literature that makes the LR unique in the 4x4 world. Steve

Ok ,chauffeured on Royal visits but drives herself around the rest of the time, as does Prince Phillip who seems to drive around in a LandRover Defender on their estates. Royal security all seem to use black RRs everytime I see something about Prince Harry/William aswell. Can't bla,e the celebs for wanting one, if you have the money, why wouldn't you buy the best 4x4 by far . As for Elton, bet he's got one next to his old XJ220 and the like Steve

Not me! I couldn't give a stuff who drives what - especially when it comes to 'celebs'. People can do whatever they like with their cars and they can drive whatever they wish to. I love my RR and that's all that matters to me. I drive what I want to drive, because I want to drive it. I have no desire to drive something just because someone else has one. What is a 'celeb' anyway? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

I feel exactly the same way, it's just a bit of harmless banter. |

I think it's mainly Epsom Green in that lot, but yes, green is obviously the correct colour for a Range Rover. Unfortunately, 99.99% of "celebs" are clueless and ignorant, so tart up their vehicles with vulgar tat from the likes of Kahn (and, unfortunately given their history) Overfinch. Gerrard included. |
