Update - Car going back to supplying dealer tomorrow for rectification. I get a loan car whilst mine is there. |

Im pretty sure they don't read codes prior to selling the vehicles, they will give it a service if needed and polish it, rectify any obvious faults covered by their multi point check, but check codes.....nah.

If your car has a warranty on it and Land Rover want to change the gearbox then I'd let them. At least if it doesn't solve the problem you'll have a nice new gearbox with a 12 month warranty on it and they'll be scratching their heads about where to go next!

I'm afraid the warranty company would not entertain the idea. I tend to agree with them. Anyway, if they can't diagnose the issue correctly, what sort of job are they going to do? |
