Without a doubt the lower suspension arm.... Do a search for clonk or clunk..it's been covered loads of times! Previously..

Thanks very much for the tip, guess I'll have to point it out to them. Is there anything else worth doing at the same time, upper suspension arms for instance, or can I get away with just the lowers.....still paying for the fuel bowser to drive across France....managed 20mpg which isn't bad really. |

It will be the ball joint on the end of number 9, but on the right hand side one.. The car is so heavy it will need to be jacked at the front to get it to wobble by hand. I would get this done first before looking for more "trouble"!!!

Thanks thats perfect, I'll get a 2nd opinion from my local Indie, might have a go myself. Picked the car up from high street KF, they couldn't find anything wrong with suspension, but think it could be the rack, couldn't check any of the bushes apparently...some suspension check that was then. They couldn't hear clonk...although its as clear as day to me on our lovely roads.

I had the wheel wobble and clunk and spot on it was the lower suspension arms. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
