People are always reporting the death of V8's - petrol and diesel, but they keep on going.

Apparently they are keeping the V6 and V8 Diesels but the V8 Supercharged petrol is the one which is being replaced by a V6 Supercharged. Anyone got any insider information on this? |

There would be absolutely zero point in this as I'm pretty sure performance of the SDV8 is better than the V6SC! |

I would expect the V8 diesel to be replaced by something smaller. Economy and emissions standards mean smaller engines are inevitable, in Europe at least. |

That would be the same crappy 380BHP supercharged V6 that adorns the F type then I guess. |

As the owner of a 6 cylinder Range Rover I have to object ....agree. ![]() Better than having no Range Rover at all though. ![]() |

The NA 5.0 V8 was dropped for the V6 SC. Maybe they are getting mixed up with this? |

In the US, I think a V8 for the top-of-the-line model would be what the market expects. |
