Ref - IanV8's reply... Oops! - sorry dave, I could be wrong? I thought the HDC and Air Suspension were connected in some way? If the HDC Inactive message pops up, doesn't this automatically drop the suspension height? Edit davemfox - have a look at this earlier fullfatrr.com thread about the same thing... http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post7636.html |

In theory, you have a problem with your suspension. In practice, you almost certainly have a problem with your battery, ie. it's on it's last legs. My 4.4V8 started doing this and six months later I had to replace the (original!) battery. Never had the problem since.

HDC Inactive would display when switch is activated to show it is not working - if it comes up when ignition starts, part of system checks, then disappears then I would say 'JW911' is correct, and low volatge is causing the phantom warning. Worth checking battery leads are tight!

Mine comes up regular, Recent OE spec Battery. The message disappears in seconds and no Arrows to show a persistant fault. HDC works fine to.
