The gearbox should be put in today - they had difficulty getting two of the bolts out as they were seized as I pointed out to them I really don't care which technique they use as they are the experts and I expected all new work to be warranted - so we shall see later what occurred |

Picked up car last night and everything id good not only that I had the full quote from the dealer and was expecting to pay £300 as my part i.e. above the £3600 well when I received the bill it was for £54 and was told it took less time than they thought so saving £250 got to say the dealer has been exemplary and though others have had issues in the past they have a new service manager and can't recommend enough Landrover in Burnham Lancaster

Quick update have not driven too far yet but two main observations first the pick up from still feels much quicker and second whilst in heavy traffic with the old box I was forever on the brakes yet now it seems much more willing to drop into first and more efficient at engine braking
