Condensation on inside of rear lens

Tried to do a search on condensation, but nothing, pretty sure someone mentioned it Confused

It didn't bothered me before until today, when I stood at a distance,I notice the ns looked brand new, but the os looked like its 10yr old !!!

I find my os rear light seem to have permanent condensation on the inside, is it possible to dismantle it and clean it? If its not possible, may be I should take my dremel and drill a number of tiny holes to help ventilate it and stop condensations....what do you guys think?

The rear light assembly is vented. That is how the condensation got there in the first place. Those of us living in wet climates have it worse.
Drilling holes will only exacerbate the issue. If the condensation does not burn off after driving then you should ask the dealer to replace. This is a known issue w/ FFRR. The heat generated by the rear lights should take care of the problem. If not get new ones as did I. 08 FFRR

Those without warranty are stuffed, like me.

When you come to sell the car, use a hairdryer to warm the lense and dry out the condensation! Discovery 4 HSE

I had this take the lens out dry out perfectly infront of a heater overnight make sure bone dry inside and run a thin bead of silicon around where the lens joins the lamp body. Let dry, refit done. Thumbs Up Monte carlo Blue, Ivory Leather, 22 Khan Reps, 3.0 td6 Vogue

And when you remove the light you'll no doubt snap the pathetic plastic clip that secures it, and your dealer won;t sell you a new one on it's own! Big Cry Discovery 4 HSE

Agreed - seems to be a common problem (?)... Will they not admit fault and rectify this? You should not have to take a hairdrier to them - or remove and reseal with silicon sealant...

These are supposed to be top end cars FFS Evil or Very Mad
