@verydisco, that is where I am going with this I think, the current one has served me well and in reality not worth much due to its condition etc. So beef it up (no rush) and buy another one., I have been looking for a couple of months since I sold my RRS and can't find anything else, bit sad but life is too short ! Matbe could ManMath an SC Bow down

Yaaay! That would have been my vote too. And not only because I am doing the same thing: our old L322 has received off road mods and will get more and I have been looking for a new one.

Gaz, you never did an L322 off-roadized, did you? Just the D3(s?)?

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

I like the decision.

By the way, people have often said putting a winch on an TDV8 would put the front axle over weight but does anyone know exactly how much leeway there is? I quite like the look and do actually use them (certainly did on the Defender). I'm just wondering whether hydraulic plus synthetic rope would be an option. But as I haven't found any figures for what the actual weight on the axle is...

Maybe time to get one of my father's data loggers out to work it out.
