Yes.

Turbine blade rubbing against the casing apparently.

France 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black

I like this thread it's very pro aircraft. However I want to ask "what's the worst or most unsettling aircraft you've flown on" I'll start it off - An Uzbekistan Airways IL-62. A private charter from Gatwick to Sarajevo. You could fold the seats forward like the back seat of a car so that you could put your cage of chickens in front of you instead of the hold. Even though it was a Ruskie rip off design of the VC-10 it's still one of my favourite planes despite the fact it's the most unsettling thing I've ever flown on. It felt as though every nut and bolt was slowly coming apart. Travelling around in circles again.

That's a GREAT question! I'm looking forward to the answers.

To start:
1. My first solo flight. I didn't have a lot of confidence in the pilot's skills, but it all ended well. (Rans S6) Very Happy
2. A flight into the jungles of Guatemala on a local airline when I was about ten. "Security" was so tight I was allowed to play by climbing on the airplane. Fortunately, I didn't break anything and the flight was fine. (Very old DC3)
3. My father talks of flying El Al from Israel to Frankfurt after a vacation around the Middle East, at about the time of the Munich Olympic massacre. The flight was fine, but as soon as the plane had slowed to about 30 mph, it was immediately surrounded by German military trucks full of heavily armed soldiers and guns. It was then escorted, for its own protection, to the terminal. Dad found the security level to be quite disconcerting. (Don't know the type, probably a 707.)
4. USAir flight from Toronto to Buffalo. Something went wrong on approach and the pilot aborted his landing. The noise was amazing and the plane seemed to go STRAIGHT up with a lot of shaking. We landed uneventfully about five minutes later. (Old school 737)
5. Worst food - Braniff (long gone and not missed)

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

About 25 years ago we got an internal flight in Cuba
The overhead bins were made of plywood , and when we were up in the air, vapour was coming in the windows and swirling across our knees

I guess some old Russian crate Laughing

...most spectacular flight, 10 seater from lizard island to cairns , after a 4 day live aboard dive trip at Great Barrier Reef.
Had to be very low level so we didn't have issues with decompression sickness Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

It's the only one flying and next year looks to be its last year in the air, so this was almost certainly its last Farnborough. Sad

Glad I got to see it. Very Happy
