I've done roughly the same mileage on my BRC converted 08 4.2SC. All teething problems in the first few weeks are all resolved. I get 244 miles on a full tank of gas on the motorway. Around town I get about 200, though I do live in the countryside.

Where in Kent are you paying that price, I'm in west malling and it's just dropped to 65.9p !!. Last weekend filled up lpg for £50 which got me all the way to Chester with plenty good speed runs on the small roadwork free sections of Britains motorway network, fastest speed attained on a motorway which cost me £5.50 to use!! So 244 miles for £50 in a 3 ton gas guzzling beast Current:

Hi Swithins, United Taxi's in Ashford. Might not be worth the trip from West Malling but worth knowing it's there if you are passing Ashford. Cash only though. Cheers Clive |

thats all well and good ,how you have it, but, when you are starting from hard frosty mornings etc, the lpg does need to be going into a warmed evaporator. if there is not hot water flowing through it, it will not evaporate, and the fuel will not flow,, and you can get a bad splutter and stall. especially trying to move off. in these conditions, overide to petrol, untill temp needle is nearly at 12 o clock. I had this on an older rangie, and it means you cant pull away, like turning right etc. car will run, and revv, but can freeze inside the evap, and damage it.
