IIRC in 2005 there was SE, HSE, Vogue and for the very very rich special build Autobiographies - I had a TD6 SE from 2003/2005 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Well you learn something new every day. I thought the only SE was the one that had the word 'Vogue' in front of it.

It might have been the lowest spec (and mine had no options as I could not afford any) but they wanted for nothing - IIRC a satnav was a £2500 extra on the SE, so I made do with a TomTom (which was probably better anyway!) I saved for 28 years to buy mine and every time I nearly had enough stashed away the price would go up again and take it just out of reach......................... so the SE was just great for me to get into L322 owning. Also I think it was only available with the TD6 engine, will check in my brochures. I remember at the time thinking I was paying a totally stupid price for a car as it cost me £42000 - more than I paid for my house! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

I think the SE is fine, if you want something basic.

looking on the lefthand side thingey its a 4.4 petrol SE spec, I think £17k is a bit hopeful but still a lot of car for your money |
